Jumi is the result of two Brooklynites love for soft and cozy cashmere. Cashmere wool comes the Pashmina goat only found in the high Himalayan plateau regions of Tibet, Nepal and Northern India. Juliet Pegrum, a textile designer and Meena Gurung born in Nepal, work directly with Nepali weavers to produce a range of luxurious cashmere and wool scarves for the NY market.
